LATVIJAS PASTS

LATVIJAS PASTS subdivisions perform only the payment of remittances.

Money transfers are paid in EUR. The maximum amount of a single money transfer sent to LATVIJAS PASTS is 4950 EUR.

In case the Money order was sent before 16:00 (Central European Time) - the Money Transfer will be available for payment in LATVIJAS PASTS offices not earlier than 1 working day after sending.

In case the Money order was sent after 16:00 (Central European Time) - the Money Transfer will be available for payment in LATVIJAS PASTS offices not earlier than 2 working days after the sending.

In order to receive the transfer, the Recipient must contact LATVIJAS PASTS, say what is waiting for the "International Money Transfer" and provide the identification document. 

The minimum transfer for cash pick up is 300 EUR.

All cashless Euro Transfers are executed under SEPA payment scheme, that includes 28 European Union (EU) countries and the additional 3 European Economic Area (EEA) countries.SEPA Payments allow the transfer from one EUR bank account to another. According to SEPA Rules all the payments made before cutoff point on a working day will be credited to the recipients account within one working day. Our Cutoff Point for EUR is 14.00. SEPA guarantees that euro payments are received within a guaranteed time, and banks are not allowed to make any deductions from the amount transferred.
